The project focuses on widening the integration and systematization of basic research in the field of functional analyses of serious diseases on molecular-biological level. It creates a new infrastructure for experiments and strengthens apparatus equipment of faculty´s expert teams. It enables enhanced cooperation of top research groups at the 2^nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University as well as concentration of professional equipment with a large analytical capacity to its efficient use. It aims to fully active inner synergies of these groups towards solution of complex issues related to the research of the most serious diseases with a focus on oncological diseases and rare life endangering diseases. Proposed investment in reconstruction and equipment with apparatus will widen and complete possibilities of participating teams in educational and research activities by establishment of shared research center named Development incubator of functional analyses of the 2^nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. Realisation of the proposed investment project will enable strengthening positive impact of implementation of the Operational programme Science and Reseach for Innovations (OP VaVpI) in convergence regions, especially with the respect to a volume of cooperation in the area of innovative transfers of technologies and know-how with partners from these regions. The project will enable qualitative increase of organisation´s capacity by raising the quality of training connected with the research thanks to modernization of existing research infrastructures of the cooperating groups.
