Adiyaman Resilience Upgrade: AI‑Enabled Early Warning and Community Preparedness (ADIRISK)
Požadovaný rozpočet: 433.350 EUR
ADIRISK strengthens the ability of the city of Adiyaman to prevent and respond to disasters by combining modern technologies, institutional capacity building and active citizen engagement. Following the devastating earthquakes of 6 February 2023, it has become essential for local authorities to establish effective early warning systems and improve municipal level risk management. The project introduces AI enabled early warning mechanisms, develops digital risk maps and delivers targeted training programmes for municipal staff and local communities. It also launches a broad public awareness campaign to reinforce a culture of preparedness and informed decision making. A key partner is Grant Garant s.r.o., responsible for communication, dissemination and knowledge transfer. By integrating cutting edge technology, capacity building and community participation, ADIRISK will reduce the impact of future disasters and enhance the overall safety and resilience of Adiyaman. Over its 18 month duration, the project will also serve as a scalable model for other vulnerable municipalities in Türkiye and beyond.

Strengthening Amasya’s Preparedness and Resilience to Disasters (STRONG AMESIA)
Požadovaný rozpočet: 684.598,50 EUR
The STRONG AMESIA project aims to significantly enhance the disaster preparedness and resilience of the city of Amasya by developing a comprehensive, integrated framework for risk reduction, emergency planning and climate change adaptation. Under the UCPM 2025 KAPP PVPP programme, the municipality seeks to establish a coherent roadmap that strengthens institutional readiness, improves coordination mechanisms and supports evidence based decision making across all phases of disaster management. The project is built around four core components: a Provincial Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Resilience Plan, a Municipal Disaster and Emergency Plan, a Provincial Flood Management Plan, and a set of feasibility studies covering earthquake monitoring stations, an early warning and signalling system, and potential field hospital installation sites. Together, these outputs will form the foundation for an effective preparedness and response system, clarifying roles, responsibilities and operational procedures while identifying critical infrastructure needs and priority investments. By integrating climate adaptation, multi hazard planning and modern early warning capabilities, STRONG AMESIA will help Amasya reduce disaster risks, protect its population and strengthen long term resilience.
