SocBoost supports the growth and resilience of social economy SMEs—especially those active in healthcare, healthtech and social services—by strengthening their capacity to innovate, digitalise and adopt sustainable practices. These enterprises play a crucial role in addressing societal needs but often face barriers such as limited resources, fragmented support systems and difficulties adapting to green and digital transitions. Over 30 months, the project delivers tailored capacity building programmes focused on operational excellence, innovation management, sustainability integration and digital transformation. Cross border workshops and knowledge sharing sessions connect SMEs with experts and stakeholders across Europe, fostering collaboration and co creation of new solutions. The project also develops a replication toolkit platform to ensure scalability and transferability across regions. By its conclusion, at least 40 SMEs will have strengthened their innovation potential, improved organisational performance and increased their ability to respond to evolving market and societal challenges.
