AGENTEI DP delivers an autonomous engineering intelligence platform that streamlines how European defence products are designed, validated and maintained. By integrating Knowledge Graphs, Digital Twins and advanced AI, the system structures and contextualises defence data, enhances interoperability and enables predictive insights that support engineers, soldiers and decision makers throughout the entire lifecycle of defence technologies. This reduces development time, improves maintenance efficiency and strengthens the connection between industry and armed forces. The platform accelerates product development, automates traceability and lowers lifecycle costs while ensuring full data sovereignty through secure EU based infrastructure. A consortium of SPREAD (Germany), Grant Garant (Czech Republic) and ImproveIT Solutions (Poland) combines expertise in AI, compliance and software engineering to deliver a scalable, robust solution. Expected impacts include up to 50% faster development cycles, up to 30% lifecycle cost savings and stronger European defence collaboration, fully aligned with EDF priorities for technological autonomy and innovation.

Next Generation High Speed VTOL Rotorcraft Concept (JETCOPTER)

JETCOPTER introduces a next generation rotorcraft concept designed to overcome key limitations of conventional helicopters, particularly in speed, range, maintenance complexity and operational versatility. The design enables rotor blades to be fixed in position during high speed flight, bypassing traditional aerodynamic constraints while retaining full VTOL capability. A fully symmetrical fuselage supports an electric duct fan counter torque system, eliminating the need for a tail rotor and reducing mechanical complexity. The propulsion architecture significantly reduces the number of moving parts, lowering maintenance requirements, downtime and lifecycle costs. A two blade rotor capable of lifting heavy loads can be aligned with the fuselage, creating an exceptionally compact VTOL configuration that enables rapid embarkation and deployment without disassembly. By replacing complex rotor gearboxes with dual jet driven propulsion, the concept enhances stability, manoeuvrability and safety. JETCOPTER represents a breakthrough in rotorcraft engineering, offering a sustainable, efficient and high performance alternative to legacy systems. Its combination of high speed capability, simplified maintenance and compact heavy lift versatility positions it as a strong candidate for future military and civil VTOL operations.
