Socio Economic Equality, Democracy and Good Governance in Sub Saharan Africa (SEAC)
Požadovaný rozpočet: 970.589 EUR
The project addresses the persistently high levels of socio economic inequality in Sub Saharan Africa, as confirmed by the 2023 World Inequality Database. The region shows extreme disparities, with the richest 10% holding the majority of income and wealth, while the bottom 50% possess only a marginal share. These conditions highlight the urgent need for comprehensive documentation of inequality and for strategies that promote fair access to education, healthcare, security and economic opportunities. The study focuses on socio economic equality, democracy and good governance, with particular attention to higher education institutions (HEIs). It examines existing policies, governance systems, legal frameworks and practices related to youth, gender equality and disability inclusion. The core objective is to develop evidence based strategies that strengthen inclusion in HEIs and contribute to reducing structural inequalities across Sub Saharan African societies.

Požadovaný rozpočet: 500.000 EUR
The FEEL project aims to strengthen ethically effective leadership among young people through Virtual Exchanges focused on four EU‑relevant themes: digital transformation, inclusion and diversity, environment and climate action, and participation in democratic life. The initiative builds on internationally recognized research on ethically effective leadership and applies it to the development of young learners’ skills and competencies. Activities will include a series of moderated Virtual Exchanges delivered via online platforms, involving 20–40 participants aged 13–30. Pilot modules will run throughout 2025 in various formats and durations. Participant progress will be monitored through self‑assessment tools or similar mechanisms. A transversal objective of the project is to refine and expand the Virtual Exchange model over three years, gradually transforming FEEL into a self‑sustaining initiative. Digital outputs such as reports, articles and videos will support dissemination and long‑term impact.

Transferring Smart Synergies to Doctorates (SMARTDOC)
Požadovaný rozpočet: 1.233.427 EUR
SMARTDOC, Transferring Smart Synergies to Doctorates, is born with a two-folded objective. On the one hand, it aims at granting doctorates who cannot develop a career in the Academia with a second chance so they may develop entrepreneurial synergies with students from different learning pathways; i.e. adults from reskilling and upskilling programs. For such purpose, both will receive online training on entrepreneurship which will be complemented with training on a massive data analysis tool that they would be able to incorporate into their business projects, together with a broad training on green skills for business. The students will be able to monitor their entrepreneurial learning experience through an online application developed by one of the partners, guaranteeing a fully digital environment. The online training will be completed with professional guidance sessions and a living lab experience to put into practice those contents learnt. On the other, it intends to provide a route map that will guide the implementation of projects combining students from different learning pathways so that it can be served as a guideline for other projects or training experiences and which will be made public at the end of the project. A consortium of 8 partners from 5 different countries set up this project. It combines 2 higher education institutions, 2 vocational training institutions, 3 companies, and a research institution. This multi-faceted team gathers the necessary expertise and the internal means to achieve that at least a minimum of 60 students complete a training to create an entrepreneurial future together.
